Yeti has a site which let's us all post our piccies to put faces to stupid names such as FuktArmsUnited. Here's how to get into the site.
LOGGING IN
> Goto Yeti's Photo Shoot Site
> If you have a Yahoo ID then click on 'Sign in to Yahoo'. Once there just enter your Yahoo ID name and password. You should now be logged into the site and the links on the left hand side (Photos, Messages etc) should be active. (Goto 'ADDING PICTURES' within this posting to see how to add your own photos)
> You have not got a Yahoo ID then click on 'Join This Group'. This will take you to another page saying enter your ID here blah blah blah. DON'T WORRY THOUGH.
> Now click on the 'Sign Up Now' link on the left. This will take you to a very boring page outlining Yahoos Ters and Conditions. Read them if you like but all they basically say is "If your computer breaks or gets fuked up while using our service, S.O.D YA!!!! We are not responsible.......etc etc" Scroll to the bottom and click the "I Accept" box.
> Now a form will come up asking for a few details including an ID name and password. (If you don't wanna receive crappy mails from Yahoo on a regular basis do not tick the boxes that ask you your interests.) Complete this form and click 'Submit'.
> The next page will outline your chosen ID and the email address you entered. (N.B. If you don't want the Yahoo Bar added to your Browser UNCHECK the tick box on this page. I recommend you don't have it added). Now click the "Continue to My Yahoo" box.
> This will take you to a page saying your email needs verification. Click on the blue 'Verify' link next to your email address.
> A page will appear asking for an 'Email Confirmation Code' and your Yahoo Password (the one you entered on the details form) and saying that a confirmation email has been sent to your given email address. NOW DON'T WORRY. THIS MAY NOT COME STRAIGHT AWAY. Mine took about 6 hours to come if my memory serves me! (Not sure why. Might be that Yahoo are quite a big organisation and it might be done manually).
> Once the email does FINALLY arrive enter the relevant, required details.
>Once this is done you SHOULD be a member. I still haven't received my confirmation for my "dummy" account (I made up some details to giude me through the process) so I can't 100% remember what happens next but I think that's it. If not then I'll post some more details later once I get the addy confirmed.
> Now all you goto do is log in to Yeti's Photo Shoot Site and away you go.
Now follow these "Adding Pictures" instructions to give us all a good laugh, sorry, to let us all marvel at your pics.
ADDING PICTURES
****N.B. YOU MUST BE LOGGED INTO THE SITE USING THE OPTIONS ABOVE IN ORDER TO POST YOUR OWN PHOTOS ON THE SITE****
1st OPTION
> Click on the 'Photos' link on the left hand of the 'Home' page.
> You can click on Yeti's photo folder then you'll see an option for Add Photos in the Window.
> Click on this and you'll see a list of boxes with 'Browse' click boxes next to each one.
> Click on this browse box and then locate the picture you have stored on your hard drive. e.g. C:/MyDocuments/Photos/MarcsUglyMug
> Once you've found the pic you want to use double click it and you'll return to the site again.
> Now just name the pic, scroll to the bottom and click "Upload"
> You can add more than one photo at a time though by just following the above instructions in the other free boxes.
2nd OPTION
****With this option you can create your very own album!!!! Whoopee I hear you scream****
>From the photos 'home' page. Select "Create Album"
> Type in a name of your album. e.g. Marc's Ugly Pics etc etc and save the album.
> Now just follow the instructions in 1st Option after opening your album.
If any of the above really does not make any sense whatsoever, let me know via email.
Alternatively you can send me your photos via email (marcsonfire@aol.com) and I'll add them for you.
